I just purchased a Dock I (at a closeout price) that I wanted to use as a
port replicator at home. Much to my surprise, it appears to have a SCSI
interface in the dock. However, much to my horror, the SCSI connector it
uses is something I'm not familiar with. It appears to be a 60-contact
connector, sort of like a Centronics-style but different. Two questions:
1) will this SCSI interface work as-is with a 760CD running Win95? (I use
a Dock II at work with SCSI devices).
2) Does anyone know a good source of cables for this? I'd like the other
end of the connector to be either a Centronics 50 pin, or a DB25 (ala Zip
drive). The only thing I've found so far is a company selling a 5 ft cable
for $100. I'd prefer something shorter and cheaper.
Thanks,
Dan
