I see 365xd's are being blown out for $1245 at pc-zone.
I'm kind of tempted to get one to replace my 755cx. Does
anyone know if they use the same ram cards? I have a 32 meg
card in my 755cx that I'd like to keep using.
Do the new 380 series have any significant advantages over the 365's?
None of them have XGA, right??
Advantages of 365xd over 755cx:
- internal cd-rom
- Soundblaster compatible audio instead of MWave which needs special s/w
- standard coaxial power plug, I've broken 3 of the stupid
4-pin 755 plugs
- slightly faster cpu (no big deal)
Disadvantages of 365xd vs 755cx:
- doesn't use interchangeable HD's. Can you upgrade w/o voiding
warranty? Also, can it hold a 19mm drive?
- Comes with NiMH battery instead of Li Ion.
Do I have this about right?
Thanks...
