 I just had an opposite experience.
I noticed some noise for the 1G HD in my 760CD. Called in on Tue., got a
box Wed., put it in with notes of the problem, sent in the same day. Got
a call from EasyServe Thur. saying "we need to give you a new HD, is it
ok?". Sure I said...
Friday I got the machine back. Everything is cool, plus a new
slim/faster drive (minus the data of course). On top of that, I got a
new 6X CD ROM!!
