Parallel port on TP-750?

I'd like to know if anyone has ever got a ThinkPad 750 to
interface successfully with any parallel device other than a
printer.  I've been trying to get an AtLanTek
parallel-to-ethernet adapter to work with Linux, but without
success.  I'm beginning to wonder if the TP750 has a full
parallel port or just enough to communicate with a printer.
