I think most people have had good luck with brand name 3rd
party memory including Kingston, but Kingston isn't Thinkpad Proven (tm).
Apricorn is Thinkpad Proven and costs about the same, so I got it
through Bill Morrow (www.thinkpads.com). His operation is pretty
small, but he is a good guy so I'm happy to recommend him.
You might be able to find slightly lower prices for non
Thinkpad Proven memory thru some place like www.cdce.com.
BTW, I have an 8 meg card (IBM brand) left over from my 755cx
upgrade. I don't know what other models it fits. Anyone want it cheap?
