Mine has gone through the scanner a couple of times and has survived. Usually I ask the
security people to hand check my TP case. I mainly do this to so that the security person
knows that this is MY computer and they hand it to me when I get through the metal
detector. Otherwise you may find yourself standing in line behind someone who is purposely
delaying you while their partner walks off with your TP which has worked it's way down the
moving belt. At many airports they will make your show them that your computer actually
works.
