A recent Tiger Direct sales brochure has the 760ED 9546-U3A (1.2 G, 4X
CD-ROM, 12.1 SVGA) listed new at $3499. Their web site is:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/Tiger_laptops_ibm.htm
But it looks like the prices on their web site haven't been updated to
reflect this. I have ordered things like software from them before, but I
understand that their return policy is not that great. But this is a good
price for the unit.
