Hi I just got hold of a new 1.44 Gb drive for my thinkpad 755Cx (in addition to the original drive.) The problem is that the computer refuses to recognise the drive (it gives me an error code of 174). This drive is bought from an IBM dealer, and is supposed to work with my machine (it actually came with the caddie to put in an thinkpad. Do I have to upgrade the bios to get it to recognise the drive, or is there other way to get the machine to recogise the drive.
