I bought two of these cards and installed them on Saturday.
On my ThinkPad 750P, installation was a breeze and the modem worked first
try.
On my desktop machine (Micron, 200MHz PPro, Win95, Simple Technologies
PCMCIA adapter), the installation hung until I removed the card. After
restarting, inserting the card caused a bluescreen of death. I had to
re-install Windows. I have had other problems with this PCMCIA adapter.
I wonder if IBM will honor the "30 day money-back guarantee" proclaimed on
the box.
