Hi everyone,
I not an owner of a Thinkpad (yet!). Wish I was! I'm seriously
thinking of
getting one and it will be my very first Notebook. My dream machine
would be the TP 380D with the TFT screen but due to cost I'll have to
settle for the DSTN model. But then again, I'm not so sure. Can
anyone give me advice on the following:
1. I heard the 380D's DSTN is almost typical TFT standard. Any owner
willing to testify?
2. The TP365XD with TFT display (though 11.3") cost almost the same.
Which is better, 11.3" TFT or 12.1" DSTN? ( this question sounds a
bit silly
really, but I've never own a NoteBook before)
3. In what ways are the 380D better than 365XD?
As you can probably guess, I'm agonising between the 2 because I'm
concern about the DSTN display quality. Pls help me to decide. As I'm
new to Thinkpads, I appreciate any comments/advice from you
all. Lots of thanks.
