The TFT (as opposed to DSTN) doesn't as much as what t
ype of video chipset you have.  If you read one of the FAQs 
on XFree86, it should talk very technically about chipsets in 
there.  I got lots of info in there about the Cirrus Logic chipset
on my server when I put Slackware on that, and about the
Chips & Tech. chipset in my 701.  Anyways, it can tell you 
about support, pros and cons, etc.  Also, when you setup X11, 
exit X11 and type X11Setup from the command prompt, and 
you will be asked to press enter to switch to graphics mode.  
This is what happened when I was setting up another Slackware 
term. this weekend.  It's basically a graphical setup.  Try it and 
tell me how it goes.
