I believe it began life as an IBM internal document that someone did for
themselves and their group called the PS/2 Assistant.  It got put on the
IBM BBS as an EWS kind of thing, was eventually funded as a real project
and finally became the PC Assistant.  The ThinkPad portion was just a
section of the whole thing.

But I saw a note on the OS2BBS a while back from the author Mark Chapman
that said it was being discontinued in favor of the web pages.  Too bad.
It was a great set of documents with everything you ever wanted to know
about almost any PC that IBM ever built - hyperlinks all over.
