Re: Swapping Control and Caps Lock keys

The Kernel Toy I mentioned in my earlier Email should allow you to map the
control key to shift. It is not restricted to merely swapping keys. I use
it to swap Ctrl and Caps Lock on the left, but on the right side I have
mapped Alt to the Window key and Ctrl to the Menu key. Since my ThinkPad
doesn't have these new Win95 keys, the mapping software allows me to have
them on a standard keyboard. The only down-side is that there are one or
two programs that use Alt-arrow or Ctrl-arrow for which a one-handed
keypress is no longer possible.
