I have a brand new IBM 810MB hard drive for an IBM ThinkPad 760
(IBM FRU P/N 29H9366) that I want to sell.
I received this drive as a warranty replacement for an 810MB drive in my 760E
that had a defective bearing. (I think.) IBM was most gracious in replacing
the drive that had an intermittent but quite ominous noise problem.
In the meantime, the drive did not fail -- thank God -- and
I upgraded to a 2.1GB drive. (This was an adventure, which I will tell this
group about later this week.)
The drive is brand new. It has not even been formatted.
I will send the buyer a copy of the shipping document I received from
the IBM Maintenance Parts and Warranty Center.
Price: $200 plus FedEx COD shipping.
E-mail or telephone if interested.
Regards,
John Callahan
