	Actually, I've never been able to detect a drop in performance
using compression. I think part of this is because the platters are so
small, so there's not a lot of seek time and such.
	Btw, there are 131MB MobileMaxs like mine posted on the net for
$50-100USD, and there's someone auctioning some off on an auction site
(that "ebay" one, I've only stopped by once so don't have it marked)
with a starting bid of $50.
	As for external kits, when I shopped around for one, the best I
could find was $100 (MegaHaus). Not bad, but when you consider it was
for a used 85MB hard drive, it was hardly as cost effective as my pc
card drive (which I bought a couple of years ago for $85).
