My 701 was purchased in the US by my girlfriend when she was studying
there. The US power supply does support dual voltage (I only had to add a
small European-type adapter) and it is definitely nicer and much more
compact than the European version (the one with the velcro). My boss has a
European 701 and he only wishes he had my US power supply :-)
