Re FDISK



   If this can be of any comfort to you, I just issued the same command (also
   in OS/2) on the JAZ 'tools disk' that I had low-formatted with the BIOS
   utility of my Adaptec 2940 SCSI adapter (Iomega apparently doesn't want
   you to use this disk for your own data and I couldn't figure out any other
   way to nuke its content). Well, I got the same SYS0850 message, except
   that I had error 3 :-)
   
   Now if anyone knows a trick to format the JAZ tools disk, just let me
   know!

The way I did it was to disable the write-protection, using the Jaz
tools.  After that I could use it any way I wanted.  I have two of
these disks; one of them I left formatted with FAT, and just added
more files to.  The other one I reformatted with ext2 for Linux.
