Re: Help on Putting 240 HD in My TP720C



I too was a previous owner of a 720C, my 1st Thinkpad.  If I remember 
correctly, when I bought my 240MB hd, there was a bios chip that needed to be 
installed.  It came with my hard drive.  So I don't know if you have to replace 
the system board per se, but you definitely needed this bios to support the 
hard disk type.
