I thought maybe upgrading the Thinkpad Features program might be necessary to fully access the new video driver's features, but all it seems to do is make hibernation work even less well. In fact, I'm now even having sporadic trouble shutting down. Maybe I should upgrade the BIOS and thereby lose the system altogether:-) - David
