That's far too harsh. What the list covers changes. As you pointed out,
Randal, it changed from 750's to ThinkPads in general. It can (and should)
change in other ways to remain useful.
Here's my other two cents: Keep simple nettiquette in mind.
- Trim quoted messages.
- If you're asking for opinions (and expect to get more than five or so),
offer to collect and summarize.
- Remain calm
- If something seems wrong (like 200 messages about upgrading a 701) by
all means speak up, but please offer suggestions on how to make things
better.
Common sense and a touch of manners will keep our list useful for a long
time.
