I get the same with 760CD p90/40MB except I have not tried safe mode.  I
am afraid I cannot give you any answer or explanation as I rarely used
suspend and I stopped using it once the OE error started appearing.  I
can't remember when it started - it might have been when I went from
Windows 3.11 to 95.
