If you don't mind doing so, try taking off the cover, reseating the cable, turn it on, see if it works, if not, try again, and don't reseal it until you've got it done. Then the next problem is that the LCD might be messed up. And last but not least, it could possibly be the board level components, although I highly doubt it. Paul
