I am very happy with my Panasonic Portable PCMCIA 4x drive, but read the
documentation carefully!! It turns out that the drive will not work if
you put the PCMCIA card in the top slot instead of the bottom. In fact,
it crashes the system. Don't ask me why, but the warning in Panasonic's
documentation is specific to the IBM 560 and I found out the hard way
(of course I didn't read the manual, and ended up at Panasonic's tech
support line). BTW, does anyone know *why* it won't work?
