Yes, indeed.  

Please don't send administrative requests to the thinkpad@cs.utk.edu address.
It tries to filter out subscribe/unsubscribe requests, but is not always
successful.  

Send them to thinkpad-REQUEST@cs.utk.edu, and they will be handled promptly.
