I am trying to get a PCMCIA CD-ROM working on a 560E running Linux.
The CD-ROM in question is an IDE model that is sold as an accessory by
IBM; it works fine under Win95.
Under Linux (kernel 2.0.32, PCMCIA 2.9.12) the device is recognized
and assigned appropriate IRQ and I/O ports, but it gets errors and
fails to work. Card services identifies it as an "Argosy EIDE
CD-ROM".
Has anyone been able to get this device to work with Linux?
