Then I'm No. 1:
Yesterday I turned on my 760ED, started booting NT4, closed the lid and
went for a coffee. When I came back (about 1 hour later :), I opened the
lid (the whole TP was fairly hot, not to mention the PCMCIA cards, as I
detected later) and saw NT's login screen, telling me to press Ctrl+Alt+Del
in order to log in.
But when I pressed Ctrl+Alt+Del, nothing happened.
The keyboard was totally dead.
So I wanted to turn the TP off and on again, but that wasn't possible! I
only heard a beep, and it kept running!!
So I sat in front of my TP and didn't know what to do.
I can't reboot it since it has no reset button and NT uses Ctrl+Alt+Del not
for rebooting. I can't turn it off.
Unplugging doesn't work since it has a battery.
So I had to remove the battery while my TP was running (power cable already
unplugged).
IMO this crash was due to the closed lid.
I hope this doesn't happen again.
