Hello all, I'm working on a 700 PS/2 THinkpad and the battery will not charge. We got another battery (used) for it and it will not charge either. I checked everything in the unit it self and it appears O.K. I would like to think that someone did not sell me a dead battery (twice) but that has been known to happen.. My question is...is there anyone in this group that lives in South carolina(or close by Charlotte, Augusta, Savannah, etc.) that has a known good battery for a 700, 700C that we can try in our 700 that to see if the battery is truly the problem. as always, any and all help is appreciated.
