I've recently started to use my TP 560X as both a travel and desktop
machine, the latter with the new expanded Port Replicator from IBM. In the
docked state, the machine frequently requires several attempts at initial
bootup to finish the process without crashing. When traveling (without of
the replicator), there's no problem. The conflict apparently revolves
around some DLL's since Norton Crash Guard gives me some information. It
also looks like the incompatibility involves Office 97 since one of the
quoted dll's is MSO97.dll.
I was hesitant to get into the finger pointing between operating system,
software and hardware before I asked around.
Any thoughts and/or comments will be appreciated.
