On my last two trips to England (a *very* long flight from Hawaii) I had a TP701 on one trip, and a TP560 on the other. The 701 was much better suited to the plane seats (screen was OK even with the seat ahead all the way back, and the smaller footprint gave me room on the minitable for both the machine and the floppy), and the battery life was better (slower CPU + smaller screen). Plus, the smaller LxW part of the form factor made it easier than the thin-but-otherwise-standard 560 to squeeze into a side pocket of my carry-on luggage. Frankly, I'd gladly move back to the 701 if I could keep the performance and [so far!] reliability of the 560. BTW, on my last flight a guy several rows ahead of me had a machine with a 13" TFT screen. Half the flight he couldn't use it because of the seat ahead of him; when he *did* use it, I could very clearly see the (confidential) report he was writing! - David
