[755 CDV] Com ports problems

I'm running Warp 4 on my 40M 755 CDV.
After upgrading to FP5 and to Mwave 2.24, I have the following problem;

- When using COM.SYS in config.sys my system does not recognize COM2; when issuing MODE COM2, it says
it is not installed; when issing MODE COM1, the system traps

- When using COM.SYS (1,3f8,4) (2,2f8,3), everything is good BUT FaxWorks Pro does only recognize
COM1 and so is unable to send or receive :-(
Also the hardware manager show 2 (two) serial COM ports installed

- When using SIO.SYS, everything is also good, but FaxWorks still does not work and the hardware
manager show 1 (one) serial SIO port installed

I have tried a lot of things (including having my whole system checked and repaired by IBM) but this
"feature" remains.

Should I consider reinstalling FaxWorks ?
Or should I try to use the above procedure ?

Thanks for help
