It has nothing to do with lazy/stupid, but with simple market dynamics.
OS/2 is no longer important in the general desktop market. Sure it is widely
used, especially as a server, but when some manufacturer makes a new
wizzbang graphics board, they know there will not be enough OS/2 users
for it to be worth making an OS/2 driver.

However, these remarks are relevant for general graphics boards, but NOT
for the TP 770. Here it is indeed remkarable that IBM has not fixed the
OS/2 driver, since they most definitely do advertise the 770 as supporting
OS/2. IBM can choose the chip here, so it is up to them to choose one that
one wa or another can properly support OS/2!
