A couple of years ago, I visited EPCOT at Walt Disney World. One of
the exhibits was of a bunch of latest/greatest ThinkPads. Several were
out on a counter for people to play with. I asked the guy who
supervised the whole thing whether he worked for Disney or IBM. He
said that he worked for IBM. I then asked him how he kept the screens
all looking so nice, with no major greasy smudges.

To my complete amazement, he said that he turns off the units and then
uses Windex and paper towels. He pointed one out that he said had been
in service there for a few months, and had had this screen cleaning
treatment several times a day. I could see nothing wrong with the
screen at all, not even a scratch.

I guess they are tougher than I had thought.

Of course, I still use a very soft cloth on mine!
