You might want to send it back before it's too late, but it also depends
on how much it bothers you.  It REALLY  bothered me, but took me months
to send it in (hassle with Easyserve, and find a time when I didn't need it at school).

About getting a worse keyboard, that wouldn't suprise me.  Now I have working
mouse buttons, but a broken TrackPoint III stick, because this keyboard
is about as bad as the last one.

I bet that the quality problems are why IBM doesn't use this keyboard in
newer machines...
