TP560 IrDA networking

Hi,

i'm using a ThinkPad 560E (modell 2640-400) with OS/2 Warp V4, IrDA NDIS2 device drivers ( V2R2_647) from TP-IrDA disk v1.01 and an JetEye/Net
IrDA-to-ethernet converter.

Works good at 115kBit/second (IrDA v1.00 compatible), but trying to use it as its full speed 4MBit/second gives me some problems with the assigend DMA to the
IrDA port. I assumed problems with using the parallel port and IrDA with an DMA, but see my testing results:

parallel port IrDA port	result
ECP mode, DMA 0	DMA 3 crashes
EPP mode, no DMA	DMA 3 crashes
ECP mode, DMA 3	DMA 0 crashes
EPP mode, no DMA	DMA 0 crashes
ECP mode, DMA 0	no DMA works, with 115kBit/sec.
ECP mode, DMA 3	no DMA works, with 115kBit/sec.
EPP mode, no DMA	no DMA works, with 115kBit/sec.

It is pretty clear that the IrDA port works without an DMA assigned, but crashes all the time with an DMA.

In the README of the IrDA disk v1.01 it is cleary pointed out that it should work!

Any hints what to try next?

Thanks!
