If as implied you are using Win95, you can use its built-in Direct Cable
Connection utility. Beware that the instructions in Win95 are grossly
inadequate -- they make it sound like you just plug in the cable, fire up
DCC and go. You have to first install networking protocols on both
machines, then enable file and printer sharing on BOTH machines (not just
the one that has the disk or printer you want to access).
Use the parallel version, which is much faster than the serial version.
DCC requires a special cable but it is cheap and widely available (got mine
for $6.99 from WalMart).
