David ... You appear to be comfortable with Linux on your TP. I have
Caldera Linux (with 2.0.33 kernel) and can't setup X windows. Also new to
Unix and having problems setting up the kernel for the DSP modem and sound
in my TP 770. Would really appreciate it if you can work with me to set
this up since I am very anxious to switch to Linux as my primary work
environment. Would be willing to call you (POTS) or use ICQ, or any other
real-time comm. system to get this to work. My address is wazulu@usa.net.
