Re: Floppy formats



Well, I don't remember the syntax for the New And Improved DOSes, but 4.x
(and all later versions, for compatability's sake) allow you to format a
low-density disk in a high-density drive with the following:
format a: /t:80 /n:9
And that should do it.  NOTE: for most floppy drives, it really does have
to be a low density disk, not just a high density with the extra hole
covered up.
