Remember that the Mwave sometimes has trouble with simultanious sound and modem use.  One of
the reasons I myself use a PCMCIA modem instead of the internal one is that the PCMCIA is faster,
and even when I still had a 14.4 H&A, it was more reliable.  I've had all kinds of problems with my
built-in modem, and don't think that built-in modems are as good as PCMCIA ones.

I think he means that it won't install, as in, it stops in the middle because of an unknown problem.
