Yikes! Is this true?  This is *way* too heavy; I think we can dismiss =
any idea that the 600 is a real replacement for the 560.

BTW, I just ran across complete specs and a suite of photos for the Sony =
Vaio 505 (cf http://www.jpd.com/vaio505.htm ).  While I'm leery of Sony =
computer products, and don't like touchpads, I could be seriously =
persuaded to buy one of these when they're finally 'officially' for sale =
here!
