The docs I have say that the 13.3" TFT 600 with the CD-ROM installed is
5.5lbs (4.9 + .63 respectively). The external CD-ROM for the 560X is
larger and heavier than the internal 600 one, and the two systems use the
same AC Adapter. So, in the end, when you add it all up there's only a
little over a half pound difference in travel weight between the two if you
travel with the CD-ROM even though the 600's screen is larger. The
footprint is a little bigger, but it didn't *feel* big and unwieldy to me
like the 765 and 770 do.
But it was never my understanding that the 600 was to replace the 560 - I
always thought it was to replace the discontinued 76x line? The 560's are
still in production.
