Greetings,
I just subscribed and the list subscription notes said to drop a
line so that's what I'm doing. :)
I have a Thinkpad 560 (P133, 72mb RAM, 2.1gb HD, 12.1" TFT) and
there isn't a lot to say other than that it is the best notebook I've ever
owned. I'm running Win95b (aka OSR2) and I've left a partition free to
play with and I think I'm going to start with NetBSD. Previously I had a
Digital HiNote Ultra and then an Ultra II but I was very disappointed by
Digital's attitude towards support (simply put, OSR2 won't run properly on
a HiNote and Digital said "tough luck") so I went with IBM. I sure hope
that all the good things I've heard about Thinkpads are true.
That's about it.
