Laptop Drive $12.50 External !!!!
NOTE this is a DELL Unit and you will have to replace the cable that comes
with it and make or buy IBM's cable.
BUT it does work and it's very cheap.
I don't know right now which cable the 755 uses but it's one of these : ;-}
If you do not have the cable for a TP701 you have to buy the cable P.N.
04H6916 from IBM at 800-388-7080.
If you do not have the cable for a TP560 you have to buy the cable P.N.
39F2077 from IBM at 800-388-7080.
If you do not have the cable for a TP760 you have to buy the cable P.N.
25H4879 from IBM at 800-388-7080.

1-888-411-1WEB to speak with a Shop IBM representative.
The DELL unit has the EXACT same connector on the drive as all IBM units.
i.e. the 500 ,the 510, the 730t's the 365's the ....
The Floppy drives were all similar; .electrically the same but different
cosmetics.
With all these units the only difference was in the cable to the computer or
docking station.
The reason for this, is that IBM is run by a bunch of morons .
The real reason is that different lines are built by different divisions and
these people are morons (grin).
I can't believe that something so stupid can actually happen.
Rumor has it that one of the New thinkpads ...560X /56e may use a
different floppy.
