While I'm at it, the same would go for my description.  

If the 701 adapter actually powers it on, it's probably not meeting suffient "power" (being
the AMPS), so you could run into some problems there.

I have a similiar problem with 2 portable printers (Canon BJ10e), except I can't use them, because
my AC adapters aren't even CLOSE to the required 2.5 amps (at least this is what the Radio Shack
guy told me).
