This document contains information on how to install Audio Support and how the drivers appear for a ThinkPad 360 (if installed), 750/755 (non-enhanced.)
DOS/Windows 3.1x/95:
Install:
1. Start the Operating System.
2. If running Windows 3.1x, exit completely; if running Windows 95 Shutdown and Restart in MSDOS Mode.
3. Insert the ThinkPad Audio Features diskette into the diskette drive.
4. Type A:\SETUP and accept the defaults. Also be sure to select Yes for install of SoundBlaster support.
5. Reboot the computer and stay inside Windows.
6. If running Windows 3.1x, select File then Run; if running Windows 95 select Start then Run and type A:\WINSETUP.
7. Accept all of the defaults and when completed perform a Shutdown and reboot.
8. That completes the Audio install, if you still have no audio support re-run A:\WINSETUP. There have been some reports that under Windows 95 a double install is needed.
Note: For DOS mode SoundBlaster support you need to run SVAUDIO.EXE first. This is located in C:\IBMAUDIO\VDD directory.

OS/2:
Install:
1. Install Multimedia Support into OS/2.
2. Insert the ThinkPad Audio Features diskette into the diskette drive.
3. Double click on the OS/2 System icon and then the Command Prompts icon and then the OS/2 Window icon.
4. Type MINSTALL and press the Enter key.
5. Select Drive A as source.
6. Click on IBM ThinkPad Audio to place a check mark by it.
7. Click the Install button.
8. Click on Yes to make changes to the Config.sys.
9. Shutdown and reboot.
