What This Diskette Does
-----------------------

The Hardware Maintenance Diskette is to set/view system
identification and to format hard disk.

The supported models are as follows.

   - ThinkPad 75x, 76x, 34x, 35x, 360, 37x
         (where x could be replaced to any numbers)
   - ThinkPad 560, 365X, 365XD

 - (New) For Model 560 only:  Support for serial number update function.
 - (New) Support for the Over-1-GigaByte hard disk.


How to test with this diskette
------------------------------

Notes: - For your safety, attach an AC adapter and a charged battery
         pack to your ThinkPad.
       - This Hardware Maintenance Diskette is self bootable.

  1.  Exit your applications and shutdown / turn off your computer.
  2.  Insert the diskette into the diskette drive.
  3.  Turn on your computer.
  4.  Follow the instructions on menu.
