Please install version 2.16 first and then upgrade to version 2.21.
  1. Start up Windows2000
  2. Click [Start] button -> 'Settings' -> 'Control Panel'.
  3. Select 'System' -> 'Hardware' tab.
  4. Click [Device Manager] button,
    then 'Device Manager' dialog is displayed.
  5. Click 'Infrared devices' -> 'Toshiba FIR Port Type-O',
    then 'Toshiba FIR Port Type-O Properties' dialog is displayed.
  6. Select 'Driver' tab and click [Update Driver] button.
    then 'Upgrade Device Driver Wizard' start up.
  7. Click [Next] button, then 'Install Hardware Device Driver' is displayed.
  8. Click [Next] button, then 'Local Driver Files' is displayed.
    Check 'Specify a Location' field and type in the location where the driver was extracted.
  9. Click [Next] button then 'Driver Files Search Results' is displayed.
  10. Click [Next] button, then the new IR driver is installed.
  11. Click [Finish] button.
