End of Interactive Support
Intel is announcing the end of interactive support for the Intel® PR440FX Motherboard. See the End of Interactive Support Announcement for details.
A conflict has been noted between the thermal sensing capabilities of LDCM version 1.1e and the audio drivers for the on-board Crystal component. The thermal sensing capabilities of LDCM have been disabled in revised versions of LDCM that ship with Intel boxed motherboard products. This revision is labeled with the part number 671173-004 and higher. A patch is available for download [PATCH.EXE] (238KB) that can used with LDCM revisions with a part number of 671173-003 and below.
