One word: Bullshit. All R100 and R200 Radeon cards have open source drivers. There are, at most, about a dozen people who work on those drivers and the majority of them are paid to do so.Yeah. Probably the same dozen people who have access to the documentation under NDA. You ever tried writing or improving a driver for undocumented hardware?
