John:
Our support engineer is in touch with the administrator of IBM's FTP site
at watson.ibm.com. Please stay tuned. In the meantime, please try the IBM
Help Center BBS if you are in a hurry.
Re answering questions etc., as a matter of fact I am sysop of a couple
ThinkPad related forums on IBM internal network and am getting about
10-20 queries a day right now, which pretty much occupies my spare time.
Do you have any idea of what the message traffic volume might be if I
decided to participate?
....
Best regards,
Ken Inoue

With the high level noise that comes through this mailing list (you know,
useless chattering, like what I'm typing right now in parenthesis :) I
don't think I'll ask him to consider joining, at least not until we have
a bundled message option set up. What I can do is collect a bunch of
questions (try to keep them short) and fire them off to him a few at a
time. Just send them to me at (in preferential order):
jokim@chs.cusd.claremont.edu
jokim@jarthur.claremont.edu
Which reminds me, Keith, could you change my address on the mailing list to
the first of the above two addresses? That's where I pick up my mail for my
offline mail reader.
