Conventional Memory
Subject: Conventional Memory
Greetings.....
I'm posting my Auto/Conv hoping, actually praying, that I may get
suggestions on improving the Conventional Memory. Right now I have:
466K (476880 bytes) free
Autoexec.bat
@loadhigh C:\DOS\SHARE.EXE /l:500 /f:5100
LH C:\CPS\vwatch
LH C:\DOS\SMARTDRV.EXE /U
@ECHO OFF
SET READIBM=C:\READIBM\READIBM.PRO
PROMPT $p$g
PATH <snip> too lazy to include it! ;)
SET SYMANTEC=C:\NUDOS\SYMANTEC
SET NU=C:\NUDOS
SET TEMP=C:\TEMP\
LH C:\DOS\MOUSE.COM
LH C:\NUDOS\IMAGE C:
Note: I've added and removed the [LH] command above, it doesn't affect
the Conventional Memory size at all. I have no idea why not!
Since I added the [ /U ] to SMARTDRV, it now displays all this
Smartdrv info at logon and slows it down a bit. Any way to avoid
it?

I would appreciate any help,
